Mac Harris is a Non-binary Queer poet, whose  pronouns are solely they/them. Born in Moreno Valley,  California, they  grew up in the city of Long Beach with their family. Mac has been writing spoken word poetry since the 7th grade and performing on stages such as The Loft, Word Humboldt, and Aim 4 the Heart since 2014.  They’ve also facilitated writing workshops for The LGBT Center of Long Beach and GSA Network. 

Mac found their inner self  through writing, as poetry has always been the one place where they can express themselves freely without fear or doubt. Seeing people relate to the stories they tell through written and spoken word brings great joy to their heart.
