Köln Letters by Mushroom Montoya
Earl, a secretive and soft-spoken archaeologist, finds a cache of two-thousand-year-old letters at a Jewish dig site in Germany that could destroy Christianity as we know it. Seeking guidance, he sends photos of one letter and the original of another to two shaman friends in Seattle. Almost immediately, Church agents from Germany chase one of the shamans to a nudist facility and then try to break into their house. The shamans board a jet to Germany to rescue Earl while the German agents try to enlist the shamans’ apprentice to help them steal the letters back. Earl realizes the letters’ explosive contents could get them all killed. He must try to keep the identity of shamans from the Church agents as he tries to keep a second letter from being found and destroyed.
